No matter what you are shooting, we have the distance for you at our beautiful outdoor gun range. Our Main Range goes out to 400 yards. Our Long Range goes out to 850 yards. But feel free to come in closer for pistol shooting and practice concealed carry skills. We are in Leesburg, about an hour drive from Ocala or Orlando.
We have Instructors from near and far offering a variety of classes in different disciplines. Check the calendar to see upcoming classes and events. Most offer group and private Concealed Carry Permit classes. The instructors specialize in different areas of shooting, from self defense to competition to long distance.
Whether you are trying to decide which conceal carry gun you want to buy or looking for a fun shooting experience, we have the guns for you. You can try some pistols and revolvers from our extensive collection to find the best concealed carry gun for you, or have some fun trying unique guns.
During a gun experience you can try out a .50 caliber Barrett or a variety of Class 3 Full-Auto Machine Guns.

Become a Member of the Ares Training Facility! We have different levels of membership for different budgets and types of shooting.
Members can come as often as they want and stay as long as the want (during business hours). Get access to additional ranges. Get discounts on targets stand and for bringing friends and family.
We do allow non-members to visit, whether you just want to try us out, don't shoot very often, or are from out of the area. Visitors get access to our Main Range and can shoot all their guns from 0 to 400 yards!
If you are in need of ammo, a gun, gunsmithing, a place to transfer a gun, or gun accessories, here are our local favorites to check out.

Looking for a place to eat or a hotel to stay at nearby the range? Here are some recommendations.
There is a 15 minute safety video to watch before you can shoot on the range. Every person on the property will need to sign the waiver,
whether they are shooting or not, before shooting.
Please plan accordingly.
We stop shooting promptly at 5 pm Wednesday - Saturday and at 3 pm on Sunday.
We do not keep guns on the property! All gun rentals must be set up in advanced!
